With 20 years’ experience in Property management and continuously having to send cleaners back to fix up their work when tenants vacated properties this is where my cleaning journey began. Whilst working as a property manager I decided that I would start my own little solo cleaning business doing end of lease cleans so that I knew that when I went in to do the end of lease inspection reports that the properties were going to be left up to my standard. Moving forward and after many more years in the industry nothing had changed and no matter which real estate I worked for it was always the same. It is hard to find good cleaners!
Then Covid hit and after leaving a job that I was not happy in I had an ‘Uh Ha’ moment and this is when Shire Elite Cleans was established. Since being established, Shire Elite Cleans has been known for an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. Terms and Conditions
Our cleaning services will be tailored to the specific duties agreed upon at the time of booking with Shire Elite Cleans. Generally, we provide all necessary cleaning products and equipment for your service, unless other arrangements have been made.
For your safety and ours, if our team identifies any potential safety issues before or during the service, they reserve the right to terminate the service at their discretion. We will inform you of this decision as soon as possible.
As part of our social media updates, our team may take photos or videos of their work. Rest assured, no confidential documents or personal information will be included in these images. If you prefer not to have your home featured on our social media channels, please let us know in advance.
Parking arrangements are the responsibility of the customer. Our cleaners require parking for the duration of the service. If free parking is not available on the street, on the property, or within your building, you will need to cover the cost of paid parking. Please inform us about parking arrangements when booking so that any associated costs can be included in the pricing.
Please note that achieving our highest cleaning standards may require more than one visit. It is not uncommon for up to six visits to be needed to reach the "Shire Elite Cleans" standard.
If keys need to be given to our team, it is your responsibility to inform our office upon booking your service. Once keys are received, they will be stored securely and only be accessible by authorised personnel. Shire Elite Cleans assumes no responsibility for the loss or misplacement of keys.
Payments and Refunds
Payment for services is due upon completion of your clean. You will be issued an invoice sent to your email address; payment must be made on the date of the service via direct transfer. All quoted prices include GST.
For Spring Clean, End of Lease, or Move Out Clean services, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Please note that your booking will only be confirmed once the deposit is received and pre-approval is granted.
Please note that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. If there are any discrepancies with the work performed, a cleaner will return at a mutually agreed time to address and rectify the issues.
For cancellations, the following policy applies to all types of cleans: Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the appointment will incur the full charge of the agreed service rate. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the agreed service rate.
Please be aware that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is not included in the refund amount and is based on the original service cost before GST. Additionally, a minimum booking of 2 hours is required.
We kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel. If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.
For ongoing weekly and fortnightly bookings, you agree to the quoted rate. If the service is cancelled within the first month, you will be invoiced for the difference based on our one-time rates.
The quoted prices for regular and casual cleanings are based on the use of one cleaner. If a team of two cleaners is allocated, the time required for the service will be halved. For example, a six-hour cleaning job with two cleaners will be completed in three hours, with the cost remaining the same as for one cleaner.
We provide advance notice for any price increases. Shire Elite Cleans reserves the right to adjust prices as needed.
Late payment fees may apply to overdue invoices at our discretion. A late fee of $50 will be charged for invoices overdue by 7 days, with an additional $50 fee applied for every subsequent 7-day period.
